Birch and incense strike first, delivering a charcoal dryness that feels like walking past a bonfire. Saffron adds a metallic heat to that opening. The heart brings a rose that feels dried and pressed rather than fresh, supported by the green crunch of geranium. Amberwood fills the middle with a resinous weight. The base is a deep oud and benzoin mixture that feels like old wood and balsamic sap. Raspberry appears here, but it is a dark stain rather than a sweet candy. Musk sits underneath it all, softening the edges of the leather accord.
The overall impression is a thick smoke hanging over a stone courtyard. It is a heavy, balsamic haze that clings to wool and settles into the cracks of old leather furniture.
