As the top notes settle, the heart introduces cardamom, cloves, nutmeg, and tobacco blossom, with violet lending a soft powder that rounds the sharper spices. The transition moves from a fresh start into a warmer, aromatic space that still carries the initial brightness.
The base brings guaiac wood, teak wood, suede, and musk together for a dry, woody finish that feels grounded and masculine. The leather accord sits close to the skin of the suede, while the woods give the fragrance a firm structure. It suits a dinner date or an evening out where you want something polished and confident. The powder from the violet lingers through the drydown and keeps the sharper spices from feeling too aggressive.
The blend leans heavily on that powdery violet, which can make the whole composition feel a bit dated compared to cleaner modern woody scents. It lacks a crisp, natural spark in the citrus that would lift the heavier base. If you prefer a fragrance that feels current and transparent, this will smell a little old-fashioned.
