Black pepper hits first with a sharp, dry bite. Tulip follows with a cool, watery petal scent that feels clean and slightly green. Beetroot adds an earthy, root-vegetable depth that is unusual in a floral heart. Black amber brings a dark, resinous weight that pulls the flowers down into something heavier.
Vanilla here is thick and syrupy, leaning into the balsamic side of the accord list. Coffee sits underneath it, bitter and roasted, stopping the sweetness from becoming flat. The powdery facet softens the edges of the spice so the pepper does not scratch the nose.
A cold evening walk past wet pavement suits this scent perfectly. The air is crisp and the streetlights reflect off dark windows while the warm spicy notes wrap around the skin. It fits a dinner where the room is dim and the table is set with heavy ceramic plates.
