Cigar Rose Noire
Fragrance notes
Character
The afternoon sun warms the terrace as Cigar Rose Noire settles into the air. Wild strawberry and mandarin orange arrive first, bright and slightly tart, while violet leaf adds a green snap that keeps the citrus from feeling flat. Orange blossom drifts through the opening, soft and slightly humid, like a garden in full bloom.
Bulgarian rose soon takes the center, supported by iris and lily. The flowers feel dense rather than airy, with water jasmine and lotus lending a faint aquatic shimmer that stops the heart from becoming too heavy. Patchouli enters early here, earthy and slightly dark, meeting the rose with a woody grip. Madagascar vanilla and amber wrap the florals in a warm, sweet blanket, while sandalwood and musk smooth the edges into a powdery finish.
The scent feels rich and composed, suited to someone who enjoys floral depth with a grounded, woody base. It is sweet but not cloying, with enough spice and earth to balance the fruit. The glass table holds a shallow bowl of ripe strawberries, their red skins gleaming against the pale stone, a few fallen petals from a nearby rosebush resting beside them.
