Fir and iris add a waxy resinous sheen, while osmanthus lingers like dried apricot skin. The drydown is where Geza Schoen shows its hand: castoreum and labdanum form a dusky animalic base, softened by ambrette and Iso E Super’s glowing woodiness, with incense and myrrh threading smoke through every pore.
The overall character is that of a brisk morning hike that ends inside a perfumer’s leather-bound studio, half-forest, half-furniture. It feels natural in its green and citrus facets, but the Iso E Super and hedione betray a polished, synthetic skeleton, leaning niche without being abrasive. At 3.53 for sillage, it sits close to the skin like a well-worn jacket, not a bullhorn, and longevity around 3.91 means it fades politely by lunch.
