You know the kind of perfume that arrives on a breeze and leaves just as quickly? That is 360° by Perry Ellis, a pale aquatic floral from Sophia Grojsman that feels like the first warm day after a long rain. It opens with a splash of melon and tangerine, sweet and slightly candied, threaded through with a dewy lily and a whisper of rose that never quite commits to being a full bloom. The heart is where the water lilies and lily of the valley take over, turning the whole thing into a sheer, ozonic haze that floats close to the skin. Lavender and sage add an unexpected aromatic tug, keeping the sugar in check. Underneath, the base is a clean, musky vanilla with soft sandalwood and a hint of vetiver that dries down into a pleasant, inoffensive warmth.
This is not a perfume that commands attention. With a sillage just under three and longevity barely over three, it is a whisper, a soft halo of white florals and soapy aquatic notes that says spring morning more than it says evening out. The synthetic edges are there, especially in the top, but they are polished enough to feel modern rather than screechy. Best worn to brunch, to a breezy office, or on a lazy Sunday when you want to smell fresh without thinking about it.
