Oud Occult
Fragrance notes
Character
A coat is shrugged on in a narrow hallway where the air is cool and the wood underfoot is dark. Oud Occult lives in that small space. Mandarin orange brightens the air near the collar, while black pepper adds a sharp edge to the movement. Leather comes through the fabric, and palisander rosewood anchors the scent to the wooden panels around the door.
Amber warms the mix until the citrus feels less like fruit and more like light on a surface. Oud sits deep in the blend, supported by the animalic accord that makes the fragrance feel lived in. The scent stays near the body as the wearer moves through the room, carried in the clothes rather than spreading outward.
The wearer pauses with a hand on the frame. The air around them holds amber and leather, with pepper still tracing the edge of each breath. Citrus lingers in the top layer while the wood and oud continue underneath. The fragrance remains present through the walk to the street, steady in its closeness.
The door opens and the outside air touches the shoulder where the leather and rosewood still sit
