Our take

Mon Bouquet Blanc opens with a blast of sugared almonds and fizzy aldehydes that feels like confetti hitting a sunlit terrace, all green edges and watery citrus keeping it from tipping into cloying. The heart blooms with ylang-ylang, May rose, and osmanthus, a creamy floral trio that manages to be both powdery and fleshy, like a bouquet wrapped in cellophane after a spring wedding. On the dry down, tonka bean and patchouli soften the sweetness with a whisper of cypriol’s smoky vetiver bite, grounding the whole thing just enough to stop it from floating away entirely.

This is a mainstream floral aldehyde through and through, polished by Veronique Nyberg to smell like a cashmere sweater sprayed with optimism. It is sweet, fresh, and decidedly feminine, but not childish, the kind of scent that sits close to the skin and never demands attention. The sillage is a shy waft at best, and longevity barely scrapes three hours, which is the real letdown. You will need to reapply if you want it to last past lunch.

Who should wear it? Anyone who wants a happy, wearable spring scent that feels like a clean blouse and a good mood. Skip it if you crave projection or complexity, this is a whisper, not a shout. Wear it on a cool morning in April or a warm evening in September, perfect for brunch, a stroll, or any moment where you want to smell pretty without trying too hard. Is that such a bad thing?
