Rose enters soon after, joined by orange and neroli. The citrus in the heart is faint, present mostly as a lift that keeps the rose from sitting flat. Oud anchors the blend early, supported by amber, musk, and sandalwood. The resinous base builds steadily through the florals, and the peach lingers longer than expected, tying the top to the drydown. The saffron threads through every stage, so the fragrance feels continuous rather than layered in separate blocks.
The composition carries well through a room without overwhelming it, and the scent remains present on skin through a long evening. The metallic accord that makes the opening distinctive can read as sharp if the fragrance is applied heavily, and the amber adds a sweetness that some will find a little dense. The musk and sandalwood smooth the finish, but the oud stays prominent and may feel too dry for those who prefer soft florals.
