Aryam opens with a bright, slightly metallic rose that sits beside a warm saffron. The spice does not dominate the flower. The transition feels smooth rather than abrupt, with the rose remaining present as the woods begin to rise.
The heart introduces guaiac wood and patchouli. The guaiac wood brings a dense, smoky texture that grounds the fragrance, while the patchouli adds an earthy, slightly camphoraceous edge. Together, they create a dry, woody core that feels heavy and substantial. The initial fruitiness from the top notes lingers here, providing a subtle sweetness that contrasts with the dry wood. As it settles, the base becomes prominent. The oud is deep and medicinal, paired with creamy sandalwood that smooths its rough edges.
