Oud Rosé
Fragrance notes
Character
Oud Rosé opens with a bright spray of Sicilian mandarin, bergamot, and pomelo. Pink pepper adds a sharp, crisp bite that cuts through the initial citrus sweetness. The entrance feels clean and energetic, immediately establishing a fresh tone that prepares the palate for the heavier elements waiting underneath.
The heart quickly shifts toward a dense floral core built around Turkish rose and loose rose petals. Saffron lends a warm, slightly metallic edge to the flowers, while ylang-ylang and white flowers soften the texture. As the composition moves into the base, oud arrives with a dark, resinous weight. Amber and patchouli deepen the foundation, supported by vetiver's dry earthiness. Tonka bean and vanilla provide a smooth, sweet finish that wraps around the wood.
The blend is rich and complex, suited for a cool morning walk when the air is crisp but the sun is visible. The saffron and oud combination can feel slightly synthetic against the natural citrus opening. The heavy vanilla and amber base may overwhelm wearers who prefer lighter, airier florals.
