Our take

Coffee hits first, sharp and dark, cut by a pepper that bites rather than burns. The opening feels awake and brisk, the kind of start that suits a morning walk down a sunlit street when the air is already warm.

Hazelnut and caramel arrive together in the heart, thick and golden, but the iris pulls them toward something drier and more refined. Nutmeg adds a gentle heat that keeps the sweetness from lying flat.

Vanilla and amber in the base wrap the earlier notes in a soft, earthy blanket that stays close to the skin. The powdery side of the iris lingers here, giving the finish a calm, slightly dusty elegance.

The whole composition feels like a snapshot of a bright afternoon spent outdoors, where heat brings out the sugar in every breath but the spice keeps it grounded. Woody facets peek through now and then, steady and unshowy, while the nutty accord hums underneath.
