MAXIMO opens with cognac and orange brightened by basil, while Bulgarian rose and Egyptian balsam add resinous depth. Oud appears early, sharp and dry, steering the blend away from simple fruit. The top feels warm and lightly spiced, with the balsam lending a faint medicinal edge that keeps the sweetness in check.
The heart turns creamier as cashmere wood and benzoin settle in, joined by vanilla and honeysuckle. Turkish rose adds a soft floral layer, and pear brings a gentle roundness that bridges the resinous opening to the base. Tonka bean and Indian oud lead the drydown, supported by amber and musk. Violet floats through the background, lending a powdery softness that tempers the heavier woods. The vanilla and benzoin grow smoother here, creating a thick, balsamic warmth that feels composed and steady.
The overall impression is amber, woody, and sweet, with musky and powdery facets that suit a quiet street at night when the air turns cool and the lights are low.
