Rimskaya (Римская)
Fragrance notes
Character
Rimskaya opens with a sharp green snap. Bay leaf and lemongrass cut through bright lime, while wild strawberry leaf adds a slightly bitter, garden-edge freshness. It feels like walking past a row of hedges after rain, when the air is cool and the sun is just warming the pavement.
The heart shifts toward a lush, sunlit canopy. Fir and fig leaf bring a resinous green depth, softened by honey and apple. Pineapple and jasmine sambac add a golden, slightly tropical weight. Lime blossom floats above it all, keeping the composition airy rather than heavy.
Coffee and patchouli in the base introduce a dark, earthy contrast to the bright greens and fruits. Cardamom weaves through with a warm, fresh spice. The overall impression is a dense, aromatic thicket where citrus meets conifer and sweet floral notes linger in the shade.
The blend is ambitious and crowded. So many distinct notes compete at once that none fully settles. The honey and pineapple can feel synthetic next to the natural sharpness of the leaves, and the coffee arrives a bit abruptly. It is a busy fragrance that demands attention but does not always feel balanced.
