The terrace doors are open. Sunlight rests on the stone floor and the garden air drifts inside. Bergamot and Sicilian lemon arrive first, bright and immediate, joined quickly by galbanum that pulls the citrus toward something leafy and cool. Violet leaves carry that green thread straight through the heart, where orange blossom and osmanthus lend a soft peach-like roundness to the air. Hedione smooths the edges so the flowers feel expansive rather than heavy.
The drydown gathers slowly. Musk settles close to the skin while patchouli adds an earthy, damp-stem quality that keeps the florals from turning sweet. Peru balsam brings a gentle resinous warmth, and amber rounds the base with a faint golden glow. Nothing here screams for attention. The materials feel clean and transparent, as though the scent is part of the environment rather than applied to it.
You notice the resin and the musk most as the afternoon wears on. The patchouli stays quiet, more green than dark, letting the balsamic warmth sit comfortably beside the fading citrus. It is a calm, aquatic floral built on a balsamic foundation.
