Character
The air is cool enough that breath fogs near a stone wall. Cardamom and ginger press forward first, bright and slightly sharp, while citruses lift the edges so the opening does not sit flat. The spices feel alive here, moving through the air as people pass along the path.
Tobacco joins cedar and leather in the middle, with cashmeran smoothing the edges so the leather reads clean instead of heavy. The tobacco carries a dry warmth that pairs well with the wood, and the cedar keeps the blend from turning dense too quickly.
Oud and patchouli anchor the base, supported by vanilla, amber, opoponax, and tolu balsam. The vanilla adds roundness without making the mix sweet, and the balsam gives a resinous weight that stays close to the skin while the oud continues to reach outward through the air.
The scent holds firmly through the walk, and the spices remain easy to trace even after the resin settles. It suits a man who likes spice and resin together, and it feels at home near old stone, fallen leaves, and a coat thrown over a bench.
