Fragrance notes
The sun is low over a courtyard lined with pale stone. A woman sits near a fountain, the air warm but not heavy. She lifts a glass of cold water and the air around her carries a bright, tart edge of grapefruit and crushed red berries. The fruit is fresh and unprocessed, like something sliced a moment ago rather than a candied syrup. It feels immediate and close, a small sparkle that sits near the skin and draws the eye without asking for attention.
The fruit does not stay alone for long. Jasmine and rose rise together, the jasmine soft and slightly dewy, the rose rounded and calm. Red fruits linger from the opening and now blend into the petals. Amber enters the middle with a golden, resinous weight that pulls the flowers toward something deeper. The blend feels composed rather than crowded, each element clear but willing to share space.
The base slowly takes over as the afternoon stretches forward. Ambergris brings a salty, animalic warmth that feels alive and textured. Musk smooths the edges and lets the amber breathe. Sandalwood adds a dry, creamy wood that grounds the entire composition. The fruity top is gone now, and the florals have folded into a warm, slightly salty skin scent that feels intimate and rich. The air smells of skin, wood, and a faint golden heat that seems to rise from the stone beneath her chair.
She rests one hand on the arm of the chair and the scent moves with her, the ambergris and sandalwood mixing with the dry air while the last trace of jasmine hovers near the collar of her shirt
