Rosetta opens with fresh bergamot and green violet leaves, joined by the dry, resinous touch of cypress. The citrus is bright but restrained, while the violet leaves add a cool, slightly metallic edge that keeps the start from feeling sunny. Cypress brings a clean, forest-like bitterness that grounds the top notes and signals the heavier elements waiting underneath.
The heart shifts toward white florals as lily and jasmine emerge. Lily provides a creamy, slightly powdery texture, and jasmine adds a rich, indolic sweetness that leans into the animalic accord. These flowers do not smell light or dewy here. They feel thick and enveloping, blending smoothly with the warm spicy and soft spicy facets that give the composition its oriental character.
Chocolate and amber dominate the base, supported by smooth sandalwood. The chocolate reads as dark cacao rather than a sugary treat, pairing with amber to create a deep, resinous warmth that suits a cold night and a dim room. Sandalwood softens the intensity with a dry woodiness. The overall impression is sweet and heavy, with ozonic traces from the opening still flickering through the dense floral and amber layers
