Our take

The sun sits low over a stone courtyard where warm air clings to the walls. Someone lifts a hand to brush hair from their face and the movement releases a bright, tart burst of raspberry and orange that cuts through the dry heat. Bergamot adds a clean edge to the fruit, keeping the opening sharp rather than sugary. Orange blossom soon rises from the skin, its floral weight softened by cherry that feels dark and slightly sticky. Praline rounds the heart with a gentle sweetness that never becomes heavy, letting the blossoms stay visible beneath the sugar.

Leather begins to show through the petals, smooth and faintly worn, while benzoin and amber build a resinous warmth that settles close to the surface. Vanilla smooths the edges of the amber without turning the air dessert-like. Galaxolide adds a musky, animalic hum that makes the space feel lived in and personal. The leather and the amber twist together so the floral notes never float alone, and the praline lingers just enough to remind you that fruit was there first.

The stone underfoot holds the day's warmth as the mix of leather, amber, and musk wraps around the person standing still in the fading light, the air thick with resin and petal and a trace of raspberry that refuses to fully disappear into the deepening shadows.
