XLNC Imperium
Fragrance notes
XLNC Imperium opens with cognac, plum, and cinnamon. The cognac brings a boozy, slightly sharp edge. Plum adds a dark fruit sweetness that feels heavy rather than bright. Cinnamon sits on top of both, warm and dry, giving the first minutes a spiced, slightly dusty character. The opening is sweet, but the spices keep it from feeling soft.
The heart introduces myrrh and iris. Myrrh adds a resinous, slightly bitter depth that grounds the fruit. Iris brings a powdery texture that smooths the sharper edges of the cinnamon. At this stage the fragrance feels warm, dry, and a little austere. The powder from the iris grows steadily, sitting against the resin and the fading fruit.
The base settles into tonka bean, sandalwood, and vanilla. Tonka and vanilla carry the sweetness forward, rich and rounded. Sandalwood adds a creamy wood that keeps the base from becoming too dense. The overall impression is warm spicy, amber, woody, sweet, vanilla, powdery, iris, fruity, balsamic, and aromatic.
