Seitho
Fragrance notes
Character
Seitho opens with grapefruit and mandarin orange. The citrus is bright and immediate, giving the fragrance a clean start that feels sharp rather than rounded. These top notes provide a clear introduction that moves quickly into the rest of the composition without lingering too long on the surface.
The heart brings neroli, ylang-ylang, star anise, and ginger. Neroli and ylang-ylang add a yellow floral softness that sits comfortably alongside the spice. Star anise contributes a distinct anis accord that feels noticeable throughout this stage. Ginger adds a soft spicy touch that keeps the florals from becoming too smooth.
Vetiver and frankincense form the base. Vetiver brings an earthy, woody character that grounds the earlier citrus and spice. Frankincense adds a resinous quality that feels dry and aromatic. Together they create a finish that stays close to the woody and earthy accords already present in the heart.
The anis accord from star anise is prominent and does not fade into the background. For some wearers this note may feel too dominant against the neroli and citrus. The sweetness in the accords is present but stays light, and the overall composition leans more aromatic and woody than floral as it develops.
