Pacoroca Red opens with dried plum, bergamot, and cassis. The fruit is dark and slightly wrinkled, not bright or syrupy. Bergamot lifts the top slightly without making it fresh, and cassis adds a cool, dark edge. The opening stays close to the skin and moves forward quickly.
Saffron, jasmine, and rose form the heart. The saffron is warm and slightly metallic, sitting above the jasmine rather than blending into it. Rose is present but not dominant, and the flowers here feel dry instead of dewy. The transition from fruit to spice happens without a sharp break.
Ambergris and cedar carry the base. The ambergris is salty and skin-like, giving the fragrance a lived-in texture that deepens as the florals recede. Cedar adds a dry, pale wood that keeps the base from feeling heavy. The animalic accord from the ambergris grows steadier over time, while the wood stays quiet and linear.
Wear it on a bright morning when the air still carries a chill and the light sits low across a room. The amber and spice feel natural in that kind of air, and the florals stay composed without turning soft. The cedar keeps the finish clean while the saffron and ambergris continue to shift against the skin.
