Manchester Club
Fragrance notes
Character
Manchester Club opens with lavender and neroli that sit beside cardamom and ginger. Violet leaf adds a green touch that keeps the spices from feeling heavy. The top feels aromatic and bright, with the lavender leading and the ginger adding a small lift.
The heart moves into beeswax and lime blossom, joined by myrrh and leather. Beeswax brings a honeyed tone that matches the sweet accord, while the leather adds a dry, firm texture. Myrrh deepens the mix and the lime blossom softens the resin. The aromatic start now feels warmer and more rounded, with the spice still present but quieter.
White amber, tonka bean and vanilla form a sweet base that rests on patchouli, moss and musk. The amber and vanilla carry the honey theme from the heart, while patchouli and moss add earth. Musk smooths the edges. The leather from the heart lingers under the sweet resin, so the drydown stays warm and spicy rather than pure sugar. The ozonic accord from the reference runs lightly through the structure, giving the resin a small amount of space. The result is a masculine profile that stays on the sweet side of amber while the lavender and leather keep it from becoming one
