Iode
Fragrance notes
Character
Carrement Belle presents Iode as a coastal walk captured in scent. Frank Jammes brings together sea water, pine, and lily-of-the-valley with sandalwood, patchouli, cedar, juniper, moss, jasmine, rose, sage, musk, and amber. The result is aromatic, marine, woody, white floral, salty, aquatic, powdery, fresh, and warm spicy all at once. The air feels cool against the skin while the sun warms the path ahead.
Salt clings to the air around you. Pine and juniper stand tall near the water, their green edges softened by jasmine and rose. Lily-of-the-valley adds a gentle white floral touch that never overwhelms the breeze. Sage and moss ground the scene with an earthy freshness. Cedar and sandalwood lend a smooth woody texture that sits comfortably beside the salty notes.
Patchouli and amber bring a warm spicy depth that keeps the composition from feeling thin. Musk wraps the other elements together so the scent moves as one clear impression. The marine accord stays present throughout, balanced by the aromatic herbs and the soft powdery finish. Every note feels placed with care, creating a fresh and natural portrait of the shore.
You stand on a wooden boardwalk that stretches over dunes dotted with wild grasses. The rail is sun warmed under your hand, and the ocean glitters in wide patches beyond the timber slats. A light wind carries spray that lands on your arms as you look out over the water.
