Fragrance notes
The opening is a bright, citrus-forward rush. Mandarin orange and lemon lead, with pear adding a soft fruitiness. Black pepper brings a sharp, immediate bite that cuts through the sweetness of the orange. Petitgrain and bergamot provide a clean, green edge to the initial spray.
The heart settles into a dense white floral profile. Neroli and orange blossom are prominent, supported by a noticeable jasmine. Sage introduces an herbal, slightly medicinal quality that prevents the florals from feeling too soft. It creates a bridge between the sharp top and the heavy base.
Benzoin and amber form a thick, resinous foundation. Vanilla smooths the edges of the balsamic notes, while cedar adds a dry woodiness. Musk rounds out the blend, making the amber feel closer to skin than to air. The vanilla and amber combination is warm, sitting heavily on the skin. It leans into a sweet, balsamic richness that feels dense. The sage from the heart lingers here, mixing with the cedar and benzoin.
