Our take

You step into a spring garden still wet with dew, and the lilac hits you first. True lilac, not candy sweet or synthetic, but that damp, tender purple haze with a bitter green edge from galbanum and angelica. Then the honeysuckle and orange blossom drift in, softening it into a creamy white floral that feels like sunlight through a lace curtain. The jasmine adds a touch of warmth, but the musk in the dry down is so faint it barely registers.

This is the scent of a pressed flower you found in an old book, delicate and lovely but already losing its color. It has the air of a woman who wears linen and reads poetry on a bench, but she disappears when she stands up. The longevity is a real letdown, barely three hours, and the sillage is a soft whisper. You have to lean in to catch it. Is that intimacy or frustration? For the price, you’re paying for a fleeting moment.

Wear it to a spring brunch or a quiet afternoon tea, but don’t expect it to last past the first course. It suits those who love gentle, natural florals and who reapply with joy. Skip it if you want presence or projection, or if you hate falling in love with something that fades so fast. It’s beautiful, but it’s a ghost.
