The fruit leans sweet and the melon adds a watery chill, but the blend does not settle into a clear shape right away. It takes a minute for the air to sort itself out.
The heart pulls the composition toward a damp garden. Lily-of-the-valley, hawthorn, jasmine, water lily, and rose float over the remaining fruit, and the white floral accord takes the lead. Sandalwood, violet root, raspberry, musk, peach, and vetiver wait in the background, adding a soft woody base and a powdery finish that keeps the sweetness from becoming heavy.
