Our take

III March opens with mimosa and clary sage. The mimosa brings a soft yellow floral tone that feels rounded rather than sharp. Clary sage adds an herbal edge that keeps the start from leaning fully sweet. This combination moves quickly into the heart, where acácia, jasmine, lily, and osmanthus build a dense white floral layer. The jasmine and lily carry a clean brightness, while osmanthus and acácia add a faintly fruity softness. The overall impression stays floral and green, with the green accord sitting quietly beneath the petals instead of dominating the surface.

The base introduces white musk, cedar, patchouli, and amber. Cedar gives a dry woody structure that supports the florals without darkening them. White musk keeps the finish smooth and close to the skin in texture. Patchouli adds a mild earthy depth, and amber contributes a warm resinous touch that never becomes heavy. The powdery accord is present throughout the drydown, softening the transitions between the floral heart and the woody base. The aromatic facet lingers from the clary sage and weaves through the later stages as a subtle herbal thread.

The composition stays safe and polite from start to finish. It avoids bold contrasts or surprising shifts, which makes it easy to wear but also a little forgettable. The green and spicy elements are present in name only, offering little real bite or clarity. For a fragrance that lists this many notes, the final result feels more muted than the ingredient list suggests.
