The fruit hits first. Litchi and a dusting of sugar rush in bright and tropical, with grapefruit adding a sharp edge that keeps the sweetness from sitting flat. Persimmon and maple follow closely, leaning into a candied direction that feels sunny and immediate. It is an open, generous start that does not pretend to be subtle.
The drydown is where the picture changes. Caramel thickens the middle as sandalwood and saffron arrive, turning the blend warm, woody, and faintly powdery. Musk smooths the edges so the spice does not bite, and the earlier fruit lingers just enough to keep the base from feeling dry. It reads more like a cozy interior than a garden, with the tropical notes now folded into a heavier, resinous frame.
The limitation here is the sugar. The opening is so sweet that anyone who prefers clean citrus or dry woods will find it cloying before the heart even settles. Maple and caramel push it further in that direction, and the powdery finish does not lighten the load. If you like your fruity fragrances lean and crisp, this one will feel like too much.
