Frescora
Fragrance notes
Frescora opens with a thick rose that leans into the sticky warmth of labdanum. Sage sits behind them, adding a dry, herbal edge that keeps the florals from becoming too lush. The resinous start feels heavy and close, with a golden tone that suggests age and weight rather than freshness.
Patchouli and leather take over the center, dark and slightly dirty. Cedar adds a clean, dry line through the heavier materials, while violet brings a soft powder that smooths the sharper edges. The mix stays grounded, never bright, with the leather pulling the florals into a deeper, more masculine space.
Oud and amber form the base, rich and animalic. Precious woods give the foundation a dry, splintered texture that supports the resin. The amber is warm but not sugary, letting the oud's sour bite remain clear. Together they create a dense, woody finish that feels dry and slightly rough on the skin.
The powdery accord runs through every stage, linking the violet and rose to the amber. It softens the animalic notes without hiding them. Frescora stays consistent in its mood, moving from resinous florals to a dry, woody leather without shifting toward anything light or clean. The materials feel natural in their weight, though the leather and oud can dominate if the rose is not given room to breathe.
