Arabian Nights
Fragrance notes
Character
Arabian Nights opens with a dazzling flash of cinnamon and pink pepper, their heat softened by the creamy, almost buttery sweetness of ylang-ylang and a whisper of orange blossom. It feels like stepping into a spice market at dusk, the air thick with promise. The heart unfurls slowly: dates add a jammy, fruity density while gardenia and jasmine lend a lush white floral backdrop, but the real intrigue comes from incense — a cool, resinous smoke threading through the warmth. As it dries down, the fragrance settles into a deep, balsamic embrace of benzoin, myrrh, and vanilla, all anchored by a smooth, non-medicinal oud and patchouli. The labdanum adds a leathery, honeyed glow that lingers.
This is a plush crimson divan in a smoke-filled tent, all velvet and amber torchlight. It’s unmistakably sweet and warm, leaning toward opulent rather than restrained, with a heavy, almost syrupy richness that feels both natural and carefully composed.
