Sunlight hits the pale stone of a courtyard wall and the air feels rinsed. Orange blossom sits in that brightness, its citrus edge sharp against the white floral heart of the scent. It is sweet, but the sweetness stays clean, shaped by a soapy finish that recalls fresh linen drying in the open. There is a faint animalic warmth underneath, a lived-in trace that keeps the flowers from floating too far above the ground. The space smells cared for rather than decorated, as if the petals landed here on their own and the day simply carried on around them.
A breeze moves through the courtyard and the blossom shifts. The soapy facet grows stronger for a moment, then the animalic note returns, small and steady. Nothing here is loud. The citrus brightens the air near the skin while the white floral part lingers in the wider space, the two moving at different speeds but never pulling apart. It feels like a place where someone has just passed through, leaving only the scent behind on the warm air and the stone.
Light continues to move across the wall. The orange blossom stays present in that changing air, sweet and soapy and faintly warm all at once, the animalic thread still visible if you breathe in close, the courtyard holding its shape around a scent that never quite settles into a single corner, the petals still drifting through the space as the day goes on
