The galbanum gives it a mentholated bite, while bergamot and grapefruit sparkle like morning light on wet gravel. That initial snap is the most exciting part, because once the lavender and rosemary move in, the fragrance settles into a very safe, shampoo-clean fougere. The cypress and cedar needles add a dry, pencil-shavings texture, but the cashmeran smooths everything into a soft, velveteen haze. On the drydown, vetiver and sandalwood provide a polite wooden base, with leather and benzoin whispering warmth, though never daring to raise their voices.
This is a fragrance that behaves like a well-pressed linen shirt, crisp and agreeable but not particularly memorable. The longevity is disappointing, fading to a skin scent within three hours, and the sillage is a polite handshake. Overall character: a quick, cool shower on a spring morning, the steam carrying hints of pine forest and barbershop soap. It feels natural enough but leans heavily synthetic in the heart, like a fresh scent designed for a department store aisle rather than an actual hike.
