Shamanism
Fragrance notes
Character
Shamanism is a fragrance for bright mornings when you want to feel grounded without drawing attention. The opening blends cypress and bergamot with frankincense and sage, a crisp aromatic lift that stays near the skin as the resinous notes unfold. Mandarin orange and rose oil add a soft floral citrus that never shouts across a room.
Cinnamon and cloves warm the heart, supported by cedar and orris. The spices feel dry rather than sweet, and the cumin lends an earthy edge that keeps the ylang-ylang and jasmine from turning plush. Heliotrope and lily-of-the-valley lighten the density so the composition remains clear in the sun.
Sandalwood and moss anchor the base, with vanilla and tonka bean adding gentle sweetness that lingers through a full day of wear. Myrrh oil and amber deepen the wood, while vetiver keeps the finish dry. The scent stays personal, wrapping close as the sandalwood slowly reveals its creaminess.
The problem is the cumin. It gives Shamanism a rough, slightly sweaty facet that will put off anyone who expects a polished woody spice. If you want a clean, neutral office scent, this bold earthy streak will feel out of place.
