Our take

Beauty Paris opens with a thick ribbon of caramel that feels almost drinkable, cut by a sharp lemon peel that keeps the sugar from becoming flat. Gardenia and jasmine sit just behind it, creamy and loud, while a tobacco leaf curls through the white petals and gives the blend a dry, slightly bruised edge. Vanilla and tonka bean round out the heart, so the floral side never smells like a fresh bouquet. It reads like a late-night walk through a city that still smells of warm pavement and candy stalls.

The texture is lactonic and heavy, closer to silk against skin than to a bright spring mist. Sandalwood and patchouli ground the sweetness so it does not float away, but the overall impression stays rich rather than earthy. This is not a shy office companion. It wants a coat, a dim restaurant, and a table where the lights have been lowered enough that the air feels expensive.

Someone who enjoys a dessert that comes with a bitter edge will feel at home here. Wear it when the evening stretches out and the cold air makes a warm, floral caramel feel like the right kind of excess.
