Our take

Club Lonely opens with a rush of passionfruit and cassis that feels bright and slightly tart. Amaretto and maple syrup add a thick, candied sweetness, while a trace of ink gives the fruit a dark, slightly sharp edge. The combination is loud and immediate, leaning heavily into the sweet and tropical side of the accord list without much restraint.

In the heart, patchouli takes a central role, earthy and dense against the continuing fruit. Jasmine and lily-of-the-valley try to lift the composition with a clean floral touch, but they stay in the background. The base brings cedar and sandalwood together with a firm leather note, moving the scent toward a woody, warm spicy finish that feels dry compared to the syrupy opening.

The sweetness never fully disappears, and the maple syrup can feel heavy against the leather and patchouli. The ink note adds an unusual sharpness that some will find intriguing and others will find abrasive. The fruit, wood, and leather do not always blend smoothly, leaving the scent feeling a bit disjointed rather than cohesive.
