Instead, these white blooms are already half-dusted with iris powder, softened by a musk that never turns animalic. The Madagascar vanilla and sandalwood in the base are creamy without being cloying, and what emerges is the scent of an old wooden vanity where a woman once pressed her face into a velvet puff. That is the image: a faint, golden cloud of face powder, still warm from the skin, lingering on a forgotten handkerchief.
But here is where the honesty comes in. With a sillage of 2.54 and longevity barely cracking three hours, this fragrance is a whisper, not a song.
