Character
Galbanum and aldehydes snap open with a bright, slightly metallic green that feels like sunlight hitting a polished office window. Bergamot adds a clean citrus lift while coriander brings a gentle spice that keeps the start from feeling too sharp. The opening is assertive without shouting, announcing a composition that knows its structure and follows it.
The heart gathers rose, ylang-ylang, carnation, tuberose, lily-of-the-valley, jasmine and gardenia into a dense white floral bouquet. It is lush and slightly waxy, with carnation providing a clove-like edge that stops the flowers from blending into a single soft blur. This is a floral that walks into a room and stays present through a long morning meeting, carried on a gentle but steady aura that others notice when you pass.
Oakmoss, leather, vetiver, styrax, benzoin and Virginia cedar ground the flowers with earthy wood and a dry resinous warmth. The leather is smooth rather than rugged, more like a well-kept handbag than a motorcycle jacket, and the oakmoss gives the base a classic chypre shadow. The blend holds together through the afternoon, fading slowly enough to remain part of your presence
without ever becoming a heavy cloak that overwhelms the space around you.
