Fragrance notes
Character
Shatha Alzaabi composed a scent that opens with a bright, citrus-tinged floral lift. Neroli and jasmine sit beside orris, each note distinct rather than blended into a single bouquet. The initial spray feels airy and slightly powdery, with the iris accord giving the white flowers a soft, cosmetic edge.
Bergamot carries through the middle, meeting ambergris and myrrh. The resin adds a dry, faintly medicinal weight that pulls the fragrance away from simple freshness. Civet and musk enter early, lending an animalic warmth that some will find rich and others will find challenging. Oud and sandalwood anchor the base with a dark, woody presence that feels heavy against the skin.
This is a fragrance for a dimly lit room with velvet curtains drawn against the cold, where a heavy wool coat carries the scent of resin and warm skin long after the door closes.
