The true character of Cliv lives in its final stage. Sandalwood and leather intertwine with a pronounced oud, creating a dry, woody foundation that defines the experience. A veil of smoke lingers over the base, giving it a rugged, almost medicinal edge that purists will appreciate. The amber from the heart settles into the wood, but it never becomes sweet or soft. The limitation here is the oregano and mint in the top; they leave a slightly sharp, green sting that never fully disappears into the resin.
