Sharif Laroche composed a scent that places lotus, jasmine, water lily, and violet next to ambergris, sandalwood, musk, incense, and vanilla. The result is a profile that carries amber, powdery, floral, woody, balsamic, musky, smoky, warm spicy, animalic, and aquatic accords at once. Nothing here behaves like a standard fresh splash. The flowers do not float on top. They sit inside a heavy, resinous frame that feels lived in and slightly untamed.
