Fragrance notes
Orencia opens with orange, watermelon and grapes that give a bright, juicy citrus and fruit introduction. The fruit is sweet and immediate, leaning into the fruity accord without becoming sharp. It moves quickly into a heart of apricot, jasmine, peach and rose, where the white floral and sweet facets take over. Jasmine and rose add a soft petal texture while apricot and peach deepen the fruitiness into something rounder and more sustained. The lactonic accord appears here, giving the florals a creamy, slightly milky smoothness that sits close to the skin.
The base brings sandalwood, amber, musk and cedar into the mix. Sandalwood and cedar provide a dry, woody foundation that steadies the sweeter elements above. Amber and musk push the powdery and musky accords forward, creating a soft, slightly animalic warmth that lingers beneath the florals. The fragrance stays within its accords throughout, moving from citrus and fruit through white floral and sweet into amber, woody, powdery and musky territory. Each layer is distinct but connected, with the lactonic note bridging the fruity heart and the woody base.
Chris Maurice composed Orencia for MOZAÏKA as a unisex release launched in 2025. The structure follows a clear top, heart and base progression, with each set of notes contributing to the listed accords. It is sweet, powdery and woody in equal measure, with the white floral and musky facets giving it a soft, rounded character. The animalic hint in the base adds a subtle depth without overwhelming the fruit and florals. The overall impression is a fruity floral built on a warm, powdery woody base, with the creaminess of the lactonic accord running through the middle and the cedar and sandalwood keeping the sweetness
