Our take

You get a burst of sharp Sicilian lemon and citron, with elemi adding a faint, resinous warmth beneath the initial acidity. The heart is a whole citrus grove squeezed into a glass: verbena’s herbal tang, a zest of grapefruit, and then bitter orange, mandarin, blood orange all mingling like a conversation you can’t quite untangle. It smells vivid, almost green, as if the peel were still attached. Then it settles into a soft, clean musk that barely whispers against the skin.

This is a sun-warmed afterthought. A few drops of condensation left on a lemon rind after the juice has been drunk. It feels thoroughly natural and unpretentious, more artisan market than niche lab, and it never tries to be anything other than a bright, fleeting spritz. The given longevity of just over two hours and sillage that stays close to your shirt collar are honest weaknesses: this is not a fragrance that announces itself or clings around all day. It evaporates like morning dew.

I would wear this only in the heat of summer, perhaps after a shower or before a stroll along the coast. It suits anyone who wants a no-strings-attached refresh, a quick slap of citrus that asks for nothing in return. Skip it if you expect performance or projection, or if you prefer your scents to last through dinner. For all its transparency, this is a lovely, honest splash of happiness.
