Our take

Sunlight cuts across a stone terrace where a glass of cold water sits beside a notebook. Bergamot brightens the air first, sharp and clean, followed quickly by the tart lift of black currant that feels like a shadow moving over the page. The fruit is present but restrained, never leaning into candy, and the open air keeps it from feeling heavy.

Birch enters with a dry, charcoal edge that brushes against a Moroccan rose. The flower is not soft here. It stands upright, slightly austere, while the birch gives the air a faintly scorched texture that belongs to old wood and warm stone. The scene stays bright, the light still moving across the surface in front of you.

Oud arrives with a resinous weight, joined by patchouli and a vanilla that behaves more like a warm surface than a dessert. Musk and ambergris pull the edges closer to the skin, and the leather accord sits quietly in the background, present in the way a worn jacket holds the memory of the day. The smoky accord lingers in the air without darkening the moment.

Citrus and woody notes continue to trade places while the rose holds its ground against the darker base. The fresh spicy accord adds a small spark each time the air shifts, and the vanilla keeps the oud from turning too severe. The terrace remains exactly as it was, the light still angled across the stone
