Osmanthus Noble
Fragrance notes
Character
Osmanthus Noble opens with a bright, fizzy lift from aldehydes and citrus. Cardamom and pimento add a sharp, peppery edge to the mandarin and bergamot. The heart reveals a soft osmanthus paired with suede and saffron. Styrax and clary sage bring an herbal, resinous depth to the ylang-ylang and jasmine sambac.
Sandalwood and tobacco anchor the base alongside vetiver and tonka bean. Musk, oakmoss, amber, and labdanum create a dense, chypre foundation. The fragrance feels warm, spicy, woody, and lightly floral. It carries a musky, aromatic, fruity, powdery, and sweet character throughout its development.
This is a unisex composition that suits cooler days with sunlight on the pavement. It fits a walk through a park when the air feels crisp but the sun is out. The scent feels refined and substantial without being overwhelming. It is composed by Eglija Vaitkevice and launched in 2018.
Someone who enjoys complex, resinous florals will find much to appreciate here. The blend of leather and amber notes gives it a sophisticated, earthy quality. It avoids leaning too heavily into any single accord, keeping the experience balanced. A breeze moves through dry oak leaves while golden resin clings to worn leather gloves.
