Love & Peace Red Star
Fragrance notes
Character
Love & Peace Red Star opens with a bright mix of Amalfi lemon, orange, mandarin orange, black currant, litchi and tropical fruits. The citrus is immediate and clear, supported by the tart currant and the soft sweetness of the litchi. As the top notes settle, the heart introduces jasmine, nutmeg, cardamom and lily-of-the-valley. The white florals add a gentle lift while the spices bring a dry, slightly peppery edge that keeps the fruit from feeling heavy. The transition is smooth, moving from a sunny, energetic opening to a more composed middle where the aromatic and fresh spicy accords become more noticeable.
The drydown carries vetiver, musk, Virginia cedar and amber. The vetiver adds an earthy, slightly bitter green tone that grounds the earlier sweetness, while the cedar provides a dry woodiness that feels steady rather than loud. Musk softens the edges and amber brings a warm, resinous depth that lingers beneath the surface. The woody and amber accords dominate here, with the fresh and fruity elements now acting as a faint memory in the background. The overall impression is a masculine fragrance that shifts from lively citrus and fruit to a calm, warm base built on wood and resin. A walk through a cedar grove at dusk with resin underfoot.
