Our take

Allure by Laurelle London opens with a bright, tart raspberry that sits beside a clean citrus lift. The fruit feels immediate and slightly sharp, then the top notes step aside without much ceremony. The heart brings rose petals and lily-of-the-valley into view, softened by a velvet accord that rounds the edges of the white florals. The rose is present but not heavy, and the lily-of-the-valley keeps the middle from leaning too far into sweetness. Powdery and fresh tones sit alongside the florals, giving the fragrance a light, airy texture that feels polished rather than overdone.

The base settles into sandalwood and vanilla, where the wood adds a dry, creamy depth while the vanilla carries a gentle, lingering sugar. The sandalwood keeps the vanilla from becoming cloying, and the powdery accord from the earlier stages returns here to tie the drydown together. Musky and woody facets support the softer notes without pushing forward, so the finish stays close to the skin in character. The fruity opening is long gone by this point, replaced by a calm mix of rose, vanilla, and sandalwood that continues to shift between sweet and woody as the composition
