Inbar
Fragrance notes
Character
Oregano opens Inbar with a green, kitchen-garden sharpness that cuts through the bright citrus of bergamot. The herb does not behave like a background seasoning here. It sits at the front, dry and slightly medicinal, before the florals begin to stir.
Rose and daisy bring a soft petal texture that clashes in an interesting way with clary sage. Jasmine adds a humid, indolic weight. The heart feels busy, with the herbal and floral elements competing for space rather than blending into a single bouquet. Sandalwood and patchouli anchor the base, but the labdanum and hyrax introduce a heavy, animalic musk that can feel overwhelming on the skin.
Vanilla and benzoin attempt to smooth the edges with a resinous, powdery sweetness. The materials are natural and distinct, yet the composition lacks a cohesive center. The animalic notes dominate the drydown in a way that feels abrasive rather than complex, making the wear experience challenging for those who prefer clean, transparent finishes.
