The oud is present from the start, offering a deep, resinous character that contrasts with the lighter floral and gourmand elements. This combination creates a dense opening where the sweetness and the wood compete for attention.
As the scent develops, the initial sharpness of the sugar and the bright floral touch of the ylang-ylang begin to recede into the background. The vanilla absolute becomes more dominant, merging with the oud to form a sturdy, aromatic core. The coconut note loses its distinct tropical edge and instead acts as a binder, smoothing the transition between the powdery vanilla and the rugged oud. The fresh spicy accord weaves through these heavier notes, preventing the blend from becoming completely flat.
