Aspens Solid Perfume
Fragrance notes
Character
Sunlight filters through a stand of tall trees, landing on a small tin held in a warm hand. The lid lifts to reveal a pale balm that carries the scent of lupin and wild rose. Honey sits beside them, thick and golden in the air, while aspen wood and moss ground the blend with a dry, green weight. The air feels still and bright, filled with the aroma of a forest floor waking under a clear sky.
Fingers glide over the solid surface, picking up the wax and the floral sweetness it holds. The rose does not shout. It moves quietly among the lupin, letting the honey add a soft, golden edge to the greenery. Moss clings to the edges of the scent, pulling the brightness toward the earth. Wood from the aspen trees stands firm, giving the mixture a clean, upright posture that matches the quiet of the woods.
Bees drift past the open tin, drawn to the honeyed air that rises from the balm. The scent feels natural and close, like part of the skin rather than a layer on top of it. Floral and woody notes hold hands here, refusing to pull apart or race ahead of one another. The aroma stays within the circle of the moment, content to exist where the light touches the ground and the trees stand tall.
The wax base feels heavy in the tin, and the honey can become a bit too much if the air grows too warm. It is a rich blend that asks for a light hand, as too much of the sweet accord can overwhelm the delicate wild rose and the fresh lupin. The moss and wood remain steady, but the sugar sometimes covers their green clarity.
